Ten months later I was named appointed as General Manager \ Dealer Principal of Pembina Valley Chrysler, in Morden, Manitoba. Within 18 months, Bernie bought Portage Chrysler and named me as General Manager \ Dealer Principal on August 15th, 2008. I then played a few seasons for the U of M Bisons followed by nearly a decade in leagues across the U.S., including a second championship in 1996. I retired from professional hockey in 1999 and began my career at a large Chevrolet Dealership in southern California. I held a series of positions within the company, the last being three years as a Sales Manager. While there, I organized a large charity event raising funds for a breast cancer resource center, a cause that is very important to me. In 2009, my wife and I decided to return to Canada to raise our three young children. I like to stay active in the community, coaching my kids' hockey and baseball teams and refereeing.
